The DeWalt DPN1664 is a pneumatic 16-gauge finish nailer designed for professional finish carpenters and contractors who demand precision and a clean result on visible surfaces. At the heart of this nail gun is DeWalt's Precision Point™ nose, which features a unique contact detect system and an 80% reduction in nose tip size. This significantly improves accuracy and sight lines whilst minimising marking on finished work surfaces — a critical advantage when working on high-visibility joinery. The selectable trigger system offers both sequential and bump (contact) firing modes, giving contractors the flexibility to switch between controlled placement and faster repetitive nailing as the job demands. An easy depth adjust control allows precise countersinking, whilst the tool-free jam release mechanism keeps downtime to a minimum on site. This finish nailer is well suited to a range of interior carpentry applications, including tongue and groove boarding, panelling, cabinet work, door and window sets, skirting and dado rails, and staircases.
