Hestia Herbs Greek Dried Peppermint Leaves – Natural Peppermint Herb for Cooking, Tea & Beverages – 500 g

As Hestia Herbs does always want to evolve, it is introducing a new herb, peppermint, cultivated in its open fields in Thessaly, central Greece, which is sundried after the harvest in order to preserve all its natural qualities. Peppermint constitutes a hybrid species of mint, a cross between water mint and spearmint. It is therefore an aromatic plant which can be used in various ways, either fresh or dried. As it is an aromatic herb, it can be added to both sweet and savoury foods, cosmetics, soap, toothpastes and mouthwashes for extra flavour or fragrance. You can infuse it into honey for a tasty treat giving additional flavour to hot winter tea and baked goods. Peppermint can be also used as a salad dressing and in iced drinks. Keep it in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and dark location, away from heat and humidity, and always use a dry spoon to preserve its freshness for up to two years.
