Product Description

Levington Fish Blood & Bone has been specially formulated to encourage strong healthy plant growth by providing a sustained release of natural nutrients. A popular, general purpose fertiliser for use all around the garden, Fish Blood & Bone contains three major nutrients which are essential for robust plants and a healthy soil structure. Promoting heavy crops of fruit and vegetables, balanced vigour in shrubs and vibrant floral displays, these pellets should be applied evenly and integrated into the top surface of the soil. Due to its versatility, it can be used for both new plantings and established borders, ensuring a consistent source of energy throughout the growing season.Professional Application and UsageNew Planting and Soil Preparation: Apply seventy grams per square metre when preparing new beds or vegetable plots. Fork or rake the pellets into the top soil profile to create a nutrient-dense zone for emerging roots to colonize.Established Flowers and Vegetables: Apply seventy grams per square metre as a top dressing every 6-8 weeks from March to August. Sprinkle evenly between rows or around the base of plants and lightly hoe into the surface to prevent nutrient volatility.Trees, Shrubs, and Conifers: Apply between seventy and one hundred and forty grams per square metre, depending on the size of the plant. Spread the pellets over the area covered by the branch spread and water in well if the weather is dry to facilitate steady release.Safety InstructionAlways wear garden gloves during application as the organic-based components may irritate broken skin. Wash hands thoroughly after use and avoid the pellets lodging on the leaves or stems of delicate plants.Pet SafetyStore Levington Fish Blood & Bone in a cool, dry place securely away from children, pets, and foodstuffs. As dogs may be attracted to the organic scent, ensure the pellets are mixed well into the soil after application and the area is watered to reduce attraction.
