These low maintenance plants are a great way to start a new and fascinating collection and will last for many years – with maturity, many Cacti will produce bright and showy flowers. Height and spread: 15cm (6").Sow cactus seed from January to April. Sow cacti on the surface of a free draining, gritty compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of silver sand. Place in a propagator or seal the seed tray inside a polythene bag, maintaining a temperature of 20-25C (68-77F) until after germination, which can be erratic and usually takes between 1 - 3 months.
