Mordant Solution T Wash 1 litre Prepares New Galvanised Metal prior to painting and priming.There are several ways in which to prevent iron and steel rusting. In essence, you need to stop oxygen or water reaching the surface of the metal. So oiling, painting or plating can all do this. . Apply to new galvanising for better adhesion. An acidic solution of a copper salt for the pre-treatment of clean zinc surfaces so as to provide a good key for paints which would otherwise show poor adhesion. Can be applied to weathered galvanising. Metal, which is exposed to the elements, will oxidize and corrode much faster than protected metals. Galvanising is the best solution for corrosion protection. It offers significantly greater benefits than paint or any other coating system. Brush or spray application. The product changes colour (from grey to black) for a visual aid and proof that the entire surface has been treated satisfactorily. Used UK wide by powder coating services.
