8 x leaf cuttings from a fantastic mature Money Plant Size: 25-60mm To propagat from Money Plant leaf is easy. Please cover only the foot of the leaves in soil, and leave the 90% of the leaves expose to sunlight and air (you mustn't cover the whole leaves in soil). Keep the soil moist, and roots and shoots should develope in a few weeks' or over a month's time depending on season. It is a tender evergreen succulent, and mainly grown as a houseplant. It bears attractive rounded, fleshy, glossy, jade green leaves. As it grows it will develop a red tinge around the edges when grown in high light levels. Water moderately when plants are in growth (April to September), but more sparingly when dormant (autumn and winter) - once or twice a month may be sufficient. Allow the soil to dry out slightly before watering again. It was once thought that having this beautiful and considered mystical plant in your home would bring you luck and fortune which is probably where the Money Plant name derives from. It is also commonly known as the friendship tree, the lucky plant and the Jade Plant.
