The spring action allows the clamp to hold your hose in place without the worry of slippage all the while making removal of the hose a breeze. Simply squeeze the handles to open/loosen the clamp and remove your hose. The handles are coated with a firm rubber material for easy gripping and squeezing when needed. The handles are also slightly oversized for a comfortable grip. These clamps may be used for other purposes but are primarily designed for dust collection hose. The 2½” clamp opens up to approximately 2-7/8” ID when fully opened (handles squeezed together and touching). Refunds
