Product Description

Bumboo offers a tree-free, plastic-free alternative to traditional paper kitchen towels, without compromising quality or performance. Made for messy kitchen situations, bumboo kitchen towels are strong and absorbent, thanks to the extra long bamboo fibres. Bumboo kitchen towel rolls are bulk packed and compactly rolled to minimise transport related carbon emissions, with individual wrappers for hygienic storage and protection from dust and other particles. As the fastest growing plant on the planet, bamboo offers a rapidly renewable alternative to trees for tissue production. After an initial maturation period of 3-5 years, bamboo delivers a yearly harvest for up to 70 years. It's also a plant that needs no pesticides or fertilisers to grow, so its cultivation is good for the environment too. (And it's not the same species that pandas eat - so it's panda-friendly too!)Not only is bumboo tissue tree free, but a tree is planted for every box purchased, through a 'Buy One Plant One' initiative, in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. This program has enabled us over 64,000 trees to be planted to date, in projects around the world. Bumboo kitchen towels are also kind to skin, containing no unnecessary additives such as chemical scents, dyes, de-inking agents or BPA. Bamboo is a naturally hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial tissue fibre, making it a great choice for those with sensitive skin.
